Reading Pterodactyl Altitude

Identify the Three Desktop Positions

The pterodactyl at y=100 is closest to the ground and should be jumped. The y=75 position crosses the standing dino and should be ducked. The y=50 position passes overhead and needs no input. Current mobile Chromium uses only y=100 and y=50.

Compare the Bird With the Ground Line

Judge the sprite's vertical position relative to the ground: closest to the ground means jump, centered around the dino's upper body means duck, and clearly overhead means keep running.
